Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of safety experience required
- 3-5 years of supervisor experience in a warehouse setting
Job Summary:
The Environmental, Health, & Safety (EH&S) Supervisor will work alongside other key EH&S, Compliance, and Operations members to help in preventing work injury and supporting production by maintaining a safe work environment through limiting exposure to chemicals, physical, biological, weather-controlled conditions, and ergonomic risks to personnel. EH&S Supervisor will help in overseeing and coordinating the EH&S program of the facility, while supervising and assessing hazardous risk personnel work in daily.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:

- Maintain all EH&S required records and documentation to remain in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Supply, train, and verify that personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection and respirators are available to personnel, and monitor use to ensure proper fit and use.
- Conduct and oversee safety meetings, trainings and tailgates.
➢ Take samples and follow proper EPA State guidelines for laboratory analysis as needed.
- Prepare Workers Compensation Claims forms, on injured employee claims.
- Evaluate situations where a worker has refused to work on the grounds that danger or where potential harm exists, and determine actions required for minimizing the risk or hazard.
- Review facility for EH&S hazards such as exposure to radiation, air contaminants, chemical, and biological hazards.
- Assist with Industrial Hygiene Monitoring, communicate results of air and noise monitoring with all employees.
- Assist Loss Prevention assure security measures are upheld within the applicable areas where sensitive client/customer information is stored.
- Ensure EH&S checklist are completed as required and report any issues to proper personnel
- Ensure housekeeping throughout the facility to maintain safety and cleanliness
- Maintain OSHA 300 records for the facility.
- Review physicians' reports, and conduct worker studies to determine if a job-related injury.
- Inspect warehouse with a view towards keeping safe work practices and the proper use of PPE.
- Inspect all departments in relation to environmental, health, and safety on a frequent basis.
- Inspect loading and unloading and forklift traffic in shipping and receiving bi- hourly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
