North Lake Presbyterian Church is a faith based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to be a people who abide in God’s love, sharing a relationship with Jesus Christ, and sharing his love with others.
Our ministry includes a full program of church activities for all ages that includes both Traditional and Contemporary services, Adult Bible Studies, and Discipleship programs along with Children and Youth ministries. There are numerous other related programs and fellowship activities that have blessed the members and surrounding community for the past 25 years.
The purpose of this position is to serve on the finance team. We are looking for an individual to supplement our finance office in processing contributions, AR, AP, and donor correspondence.
ESSENTIAL TASKS:.
- Processing of the weekly contributions to church & thank you letters.
- Coordinate with group leaders for cash receipts.
- Collections and accounts receivables.
- Account payable.
- Responsible for our Time Clock software maintenance, payroll processing, and federal tax deposits
- New Hire onboarding
- Administrative tasks i.e.: filing, phone calls, patron assistance
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Financial Manager.
Requirements – Education/ Experience:
Education: An associate degree or 2 years comparable work experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Required:
Prior use of accounting software ie. DataPro, Patriot, Quickbooks, or Shelby
Solid understanding of GAAP.
Intermediate level: Microsoft Suite
Solid and polished written communication skills.
Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
Desire to work in a church environment and a growth mindset

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
