Available Shifts:
Tuesday - Friday: 6:00 pm to 4:30 am
Become familiar with all machinery and equipment in production facility.
Ensure machinery and equipment is in running condition and maintain buildings and grounds are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
Responsible for own safety as well as the safety of fellow employees be becoming familiar with the Baker Boy safety policy and the hazards of the position, doing what is necessary to ensure safety and reporting all near misses, injuries and accidents to supervisor.
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) on all equipment.
Troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
Work as directed with other technicians.
Ability to demonstrate the core competencies as outlined in the Baker Boy Core Competencies Model.
Perform any other duties as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.

Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment as needed.
- Repair production equipment as needed.
- Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.
- Ability to come in after hours to assist production personnel with maintenance issues.
- ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, CHARACTERISTICS
- Three years electrical training and/or experience in electrical, HVAC, industrial technology or related areas.
- Welding, refrigeration or PLC experience a plus.
- Must be a team player that can coordinate work between different departments.
- Must be able to perform multi-tasks simultaneously as needed.
- Bending, stooping, walking, reaching, grasping, carrying and visual skills are required on a constant basis. Ability to stand on feet for entire work shift, normally 8 hours, is required, however overtime may be required during peak production periods.
- Must possess problem-solving skills.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Work in a team environment so must have ability to work well with others.
- Ability to think and work safely and work safely at all times and must follow all proper ergonomic and safety practices.
- Ability to read, speak and understand the English language.
- Lifting more than 52 pounds without assistance is prohibited!
