Job Title: Facility Security Deputy
This is a non-telework position.
Position Responsibilities:
- Create, execute, and monitor the company security policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM).
- Ensure COMSEC requirements and procedures are implemented and followed.
- Provide guidance and instructions to all employees to ensure any event, circumstance, or act that could be considered a breach of security is reported immediately.
- Conduct security training, briefings, and debriefings.
- Assure proper marking, safeguarding, and transmission of all classified and COMSEC materials.
- Administer DISS, NBIS, NISS and SWFT activity including processing clearances and visit requests.
- Maintain all records in compliance with our security manual and COMSEC procedures.
- Primary contact for DSS/NBIS reviews and correspondence.
- Maintain a working relationship with all contract security offices to ensure proper paperwork and clearances are maintained.
Duties Include:
- Processes new employee security clearances
- Tracks security clearance investigations and performs administrative support functions, including DISS and Electronic Applications for Investigations Processing (eApp).
- Provides security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for all personnel.
- Processes outgoing visit requests and certifications
- Review required forms, processes, and screens security forms (SF86)
- Preparations for facility reviews and inspections
- Develop, implement, and oversee federal security clearance program.
- Provide training for AFSO’s and classified/secure project personnel.
- Oversee company’s completion and retention of personnel security clearance records.
- Oversee self-inspection and review of security processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Oversee coordination of closeout for all classified projects.
- Oversight of company CUI processes and compliance.
- Support other company security disciplines as needed in connection with classified/secure projects: Legal, Information Technology and Corporate Communications Skills and Qualifications.

- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, work independently and in team.3+ years as a Facility Security Officer or related experience / FSO certification with minimum 1 year of experience as an FSO.
- Preferred Applicant hold an active Top Secret security clearance (or able to obtain); must possess at minimum a DOD secret Clearance.
- Administer day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, visit certs, etc.
- Thorough understanding of security databases such as NISS, NBIS, DISS, SWFT.
- Provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate!
- Must be able to interpret and implement security policy, provide guidance, oversight, and assistance to company personnel.
- Must be able to demonstrate by knowledge and experience the ability to manage and oversee comprehensive Security Program.
