Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare syrup batches by following batch and formula recipes
- Physically weigh out ingredients for addition to batch
- Verify and make proper connections for liquid transfer (treated water & HFCS)
- Ability to use mechanical metering systems to add batch water and HFCS sugar
- Complete various product tests and troubleshoot issues from formulation errors
- Clean & sanitize all batching equipment
Qualifications / Requirements:
- High School Degree
- Able to read and write clearly
- Able to perform simple mathematical operations
- Able to lift containers weighing up to 55lbs
- Able to safely maneuver bulk containers of ingredients
- Able to bend & stoop over to make line connections
- Minimum one year lab experience (preferably in food or beverage industry)
- Self-Starter
- Decision making ability
- Good analytical skills
