Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal fluent in Spanish to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting attorneys with all aspects of workers' compensation cases, with a focus on Spanish-speaking clients. Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation, filing, and management of workers' compensation claims.
- Conduct client interviews in Spanish to gather relevant information regarding their workers' compensation cases.
- Translate legal documents, correspondence, and client communications from Spanish to English and vice versa.
- Maintain case files, organize documents, and ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to obtain necessary information and documentation.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements, under attorney supervision.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, depositions, and hearings.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial notebooks.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed, such as managing calendars, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Workers' Compensation Paralegal.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws, procedures, and regulations.
- Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and colleagues.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
