Thrive Therapy & Social Center is looking to expand our team with a Full-time Early Intervention/EI Lead! Thrive is a Center and Home based ABA, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Early Intervention and Social Skills group center located in San Jose. We are currently providing a hybrid model of in person and teletherapy sessions. Our culture has a large focus on bringing joy to therapy both for staff and clients. Qualifications:
- Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance and Driver’s license
- Must pass TB test and show proof of immunizations/full Covid vaccinations-mandated
- A minimum degree (bachelor's) in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education or a closely related field, master's degree preferred.
- Must pass criminal background check
- Previous experience with childcare or related field.
- Must have a minimum of one year experience in early intervention working with special needs children ages 0 to 3.
- Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- Knowledgeable of methodologies found to benefit children with developmental delays,
Responsibilities
- Provides home visits to families, supporting parent/child interactions through developmentally appropriate play activities.
- Educate parents and implement an early intervention plan
- Create a positive and nurturing environment for the children/infants
- Perform a variety of tasks defined on the treatment plan
- Data taking
- Provides social/emotional and crisis support to families as appropriate.
- Manage Early Intervention cases/EI Training
- Conducting assessments and writing detailed developmental reports for children on caseload.
- Professional documentation such as notes, progress, intervention reports
- Generate and manage various reports such as IFSP, Intake Evaluation, 90/25 day reports.
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to information and records concerning children, families and staff in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
