Job Requirements
· Minimum of Associate’s degree or 2-3 years’ experience in graphic design, communications, marketing, public relations or media studies or related fields.
· Highly proficient in time and project management.
· Has a natural curiosity and a tenacious work ethic.

· Self-starter that can see projects through from start to finish in an efficient manner.
· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, etc.)
· Content management system experience (WordPress is ideal).
· Well-versed in social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
· Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
· Highly organized and detail oriented.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Work with a sense of urgency.
· Be organized and help keep others organized.
Job Responsibilities
Duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:
1. Campaign Coordinator:
Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with service programs and departments to gather content and materials for campaigns.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
2. Content Creation:
Develop and edit content for various marketing channels, including social media, email, newsletters, website, and print materials.
- Ensure all content aligns with the organization's brand voice and messaging.
- Serve as photographer and videographer to capture content with programs and events.
- Thoroughly proofs content, ensuring spelling and grammar accuracy.
4. Social Media Management:
- Administer and grow the organization's social media presence across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) with direction from the Director of Marketing & Communications
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content, and respond to comments and messages.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to optimize performance.
5. Event Assistance:
- Collaborating in the planning and promotion of events, including fundraisers, community outreach programs, and awareness campaigns.
- Assist with event logistics and ensure all marketing materials are prepared and distributed.
- Assists and be present at HopeTree events (some after hours and weekends.) Overnight stays may be required for select events.
6. Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings to support marketing strategies.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
7. Graphic Design:
- Create visually appealing graphics for use in various marketing materials and campaigns.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel.
8. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications and other departments to ensure alignment and support for organizational goals.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed.
9. Administrative Tasks:
- Serve as point person for ordering collateral, printed materials, and promotional items from external vendors.
- Maintain and update marketing databases and contact lists.
- Prepare reports and presentations as required.
- Maintains inventory and stock of promotional and marketing materials.
- Participates in staff planning and committee meetings.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
