Compensation:
$14 hourly with raise after probationary period
Responsibilities:-
Provide excellent customer service to all guests consistently throughout their stay

Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and efficiently

Efficiently check guests in and out in a friendly manner

Utilize Fosse system to post guest charges, calculate bills, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures

Manage guest mail and messages following established protocols

Demonstrate expertise in Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program
-
Develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel staff, room rates, amenities, and sales tactics
-
Efficiently manage reservation requests
-
Answer incoming calls with proper telephone etiquette
-
Block rooms and accommodate special requests
-
Monitor room availability
-
Follow procedures for safe deposit box usage
-
Familiarize yourself with emergency and security protocols
-
Have knowledge of local attractions and areas
-
Handle wake-up call requests effectively
-
Understand and adhere to guest room cleaning standards
-
Maintain cleanliness in lobby, meeting room, vending room, and back-office areas as per guidelines

Complete training on Marriott Global Source platform

Perform shift start-up and end duties, including cash handling

Ensure a balance of credit cards, cash, and change funds throughout the shift

Report guest or system issues to management promptly

Communicate relevant information to incoming staff and management

Notify maintenance of any maintenance requirements

Inform housekeeping of changes in guest itineraries
-
Direct guest lost and found inquiries to management or the Guest Room Supervisor

Support marketing efforts by completing Company Tracking tasks

Adhere to proper uniform standards at all times

Willingness to train in making Starbucks drinks at the 24-hour Starbucks on the property
-
Practice safety protocols consistently

Ability to lift luggage or packages up to 40 lbs

Adherence to company work rules, procedures, and policies

Perform additional assigned duties within capabilities

Previous experience with Fosse system is advantageous

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lobby and desk area
