Manufacturer in Racine seeking 1st shift Warehouse - Inventory parts specialist to add to our team!
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of stock and products within our warehouse, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is a critical role that requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy through regular counts and audits
- Operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment to transport stock and products within the warehouse
- Receive and process shipments and deliveries, checking for any damage or discrepancies
- Organize and maintain the warehouse, including labeling and storing products, and cleaning and sweeping floors
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions, including preparing and packing orders for shipment
- Computer experience with shipping and receiving functions, including preparing and packing orders for shipment
- Collaborate with the warehouse management team to optimize warehouse operations and improve customer satisfaction
- Maintain compliance with warehouse management systems and adhere to 3PL and e-commerce best practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse operations and reduce costs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably with experience using a forklift
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and experience with inventory management systems
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and 3PL/e-commerce best practices
- Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving functions
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
