Program Coordinator
Our client is The Innovation Lab at the Georgetown University Center for Child and Family Development (“Lab”).
As a Program Coordinator you will help launch the Lab and work with Lab participants including entities ranging from startups to nonprofits working to make a big impact in the child and family development world. You will have the opportunity to support the Lab development and research efforts leading up to and through the launch of the Lab in 2024. You will also get the opportunity to support companies throughout our accelerator programs while working alongside the Lab team.
As the Program Coordinator, you will work directly with the Lab leadership team and entity founders working to support the administration and execution of the Lab. From clinicians to researchers to entrepreneurs to investors to mentors, this opportunity is a great way to expand your knowledge and your network within the community working to innovate in the child and family developmental space.

General Job Description
The Program Coordinator role is responsible for administrative duties including support for operational execution throughout the launch of the Lab and during the duration of the Lab program. Logistics experience as well as familiarity with child and family developmental space and/or the early stage innovation ecosystem is preferred. A willingness to learn, comfort tackling new problems, and ability to execute with excellence is a must. You’ll need to be flexible and willing and able to pitch in with whatever unforeseen needs the program team and innovation founders may have.
Duties and responsibilities
- Support the organization and execution of the program.
- Event and workshop planning and preparation (for virtual and in-person events).
- Engage with Lab ecosystem partners and innovation founders to plan activities, meetings and events that accelerate the success of the Lab and participating entities.
- Support with calendar and logistics management for mentors, partners, founders and general programming.
- Utilize tools and develop processes to manage program content and data (e.g. Notion, Airtable/Smartsheets, ChatGPT, Consensus, Zapier, Slack etc.).
- Help research and develop ecosystem analysis, best practices and curriculum of the program.
- Develop scalable processes for the accelerator program to optimize remote founder work and activities.
- Deliver the best possible Lab experience for founders, mentors, partners, investors and other stakeholders as measured by NPS and company performance.
- Represent the Lab in relevant community and ecosystem events.

Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in fast-paced project or program management focused position
- Demonstrated interest in innovation be it through technology and startups or research and new program development.
- Experience in event planning and event logistics.
- Strong proficiency in online productivity and data management tools and applications.
- Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities, proactive, and able to jump in without being asked and a “no task is too small or too big” attitude.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, organize and collaborate, especially on multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency working with “no code” and automation tools like Airtable, Notion, Zapier, Hubspot and other project management tools strongly preferred.
- Strong emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and high level of empathy
