Primary Therapist - Residential Eating Disorder Program
Role Description:
We are seeking therapists who desire stability in their employment. Become a key figure in our residential treatment center and receive exceptional therapy resources, experts for supervision, all within a captivating countryside setting. Therapists will enhance their clinical skills and develop meaningful long-term professional relationships. Therapists will participate in real-world therapy experiences while receiving expert training and supervision as they make a meaningful impact on the lives of girls and young women in this multidisciplinary residential treatment center. Our therapists find daily relational interactions and professional multidisciplinary collaboration highly valuable for their professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy that is comprehensive, effective, and in accordance with program protocols.
- Work with the multidisciplinary treatment team by completing bio-psycho-social assessments and weekly treatment plans, identifying treatment goals
- Communicate with various department personnel and with outside providers
- Maintain the electronic medical record for each patient’s progress in thorough detail after each therapeutic session
- Facilitate the development of an aftercare plan.
- Oversight of each assigned patient’s progress and coordinating the patient’s care.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a New Jersey LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, or Practicing Psychologist License.
- Preferably, although not necessarily, have a working knowledge of eating disorder treatment.
- We provide clinical supervision for all therapists. Our leadership team includes several of the field’s leading experts in eating disorder treatment, and we offer supervision specific to becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS).
