Landis+Gyr is seeking an undergraduate Co-op student to start in August, 2024. This is a 3-semester rotation commitment so working fulltime office hours Monday through Friday at our Alpharetta, GA location Fall semester 2024, Summer 2025, and Winter/Spring semester 2026 alternating with school semesters before graduating. There is a possibility of working 2 of the 3 semesters back to back (i.e. Fall 2025 after Summer 2025) as long as all 3 semesters are worked. This is a paid position but we don't offer housing assistance so local candidates are preferred.
Objectives/Responsibilities
Design/test engineer working in the S3G group along with other test and design engineers to provide support for S3G testing/evaluation efforts.
- Provide support/testing for S3G projects that require lab bench testing such as learning how to solder components to PCBAs, learn how to use test equipment, collect data, environmental chambers etc.
- Learn our products in SAP and learn how to navigate SAP for design schematic and component information
- Learn circuit analysis techniques for helping to evaluate whether alternate components would work in existing circuits
Education/Experience
An undergraduate student working towards a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
