Resident Care Manager
Kendal on Hudson has an immediate opening for an experienced nurse to serve as the organization’s Resident Care Manager. The Manager’s scope of responsibility is the day-to-day coordination of resident care center staff and operations in accordance with Kendal’s Values and Practices. Operations include leading Kendal’s emergency response, employee health, supporting visiting physicians/specialists and triaging resident needs. A key component of the position is to support the Kendal continuum through clinical case management of independent living residents. This includes fostering positive relationships with them, their families, Kendal’s interdisciplinary team and community practitioners. The Resident Care Manager is a champion of our wellness program initiatives and participates on designated committees such as Quality Improvement, Health & Wellness, Safety and Infection Control. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, able to represent Kendal to internal and external constituents and must demonstrate excellent judgment surrounding resident safety. *Manager / part of Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Health Services Administrator
Job Requirements: Applicants must be a nurse. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by the State of New York as a Registered Nurse, preferred. Graduation from an approved school of Practical nursing and current licensure by New York State as an LPN, considered. Experience with the senior population, settings within the long-term care continuum and physician practice/ clinic settings preferred. Proficient or able to become proficient in utilization of an electric medical record system. Candidate must also have an empathic personality, positive attitude, strong communication/people skills and be a team player.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
