Carolina Pottery is seeking the ideal candidate who exemplifies a willingness to learn, organizational skills, attention to detail, with self-movtivation. We are looking for a dynamic person who is excited to join our team at our Augusta, GA location and ready to jump into any situation to give a helping hand.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and excellent customer service
- Perform counts on “basic” items; submit suggested “basic” orders to buyers for approval
- Perform special counts on items requested from buyers and/or store management.
- Maintain record of all received purchase orders.
- Maintain open purchase order log.
- Maintain received purchase order log.
- Communicate with buyers and/or vendors to resolve issues with damaged merchandise or irregularities found by Receiving.
- Process Inter-Store Transfers and maintain transfer log to keep record of transfers
- Email all completed purchase orders, transfers, daily received P.O. log, etc. to corporate accounting department.
- Monthly write-off report to corporate and store manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- 2+ years’ experience in inventory control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills.
- Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed.
- Reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
