SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for development, staffing, marketing, organization, and management of Mental Health program services. Provides Mental Health program clinical staff and interns/practicum students with clinical supervision and/or direct supervision. Works closely with the Clinical Director, Behavioral Health, and the Quality and Nursing teams to ensure regulatory compliance in the Mental Health program continuum of services. Understands and acts within the guidance of state and federal standards, regulations, and laws around Medication Assisted Treatment. Provides and promotes outstanding internal and external customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provides Mental Health program counseling services using evidence-based methodologies to provide excellent clinical services.
· Prepare for and conduct individual, group, and family therapy for assigned caseload. Works with assigned staff to help them develop competencies in same.
· Provides clinical supervision and consultation to Mental Health program clinicians and interns/practicum students, as assigned to assure quality of services. Trains or ensures training of new staff/Interns/practicum students in various aspects of services to comply with regulatory guidance.
· Ensures that clinical services are client focused taking into account trauma informed care practices. Provides consistent, personal growth-focused services to all assigned clients by maximizing time spent working directly with clients to assist their personal growth process.
· Requires a high level of collaboration and communication across multiple levels of management. Collaborates across MH and SU programs to transfer clients among various levels of care.
· Ensures specialty annual requirements are met by assigned staff (i.e., TB testing, Hepatitis testing, Narcan training, assessment training, etc.)
· Conducts intake for recipient entering services, including explaining services, gathering information needed on intake materials, ensuring service recipient understands all forms, assuring signature on appropriate contracts and consents, and submitting materials for processing, as assigned. Conducts assessment and write assessment summaries, as assigned, in addition to reviewing and approving documents for team.
· Assists service recipients with making linkage with internal and external resources as outlined in treatment plan and in Job Description coordination with health home, and other services as appropriate.
· Maintains appropriate contact with referral sources including providing information on service recipient progress, behavior, and needs (with appropriate releases), and maintaining ongoing consultation when appropriate.
· Assists service recipient in making discharge plans and provide follow up services as assigned.
· Monitors urinalysis, breathalyzer, and other testing as assigned.
· In the absence of supervisor, in consultation with other leaders as required, makes decisions to assure program continuity.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s degree in human services.
· Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
· Provisional license (LPC/LSW) required
· Full licensure (LCPC/LCSW) required within SUPR time frame or within 2 years, whichever comes first.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
