Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and special requests
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and to-go orders
- Manage waitlists and ensure efficient seating of guests
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service and address guest concerns or complaints promptly
- Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management
Perferable skills:
- Previous experience in guest relations, customer service, or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with the POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
