We're adding a Patient Coordinator to our surgical ophthalmology practice. You will work in our Meridian and Caldwell locations. You'll answer phone inquiries, schedule appointments, check patients in, schedule return visits, collect fees, assist with insurance questions, and work with the clinical team so that each patient is seen promptly.
You must provide stellar customer service. You'll be working alongside surgeons and medical staff, so while previous ophthalmology experience is not required, it is desired. However, your work experience in hospitality, retail, banking or similar may be exactly the service-oriented background we are seeking. You need the aptitude to learn eye and vision conditions, and be able to discuss our solutions in a friendly, non-threatening manner. You need strong analytical skills, as you'll be called upon to understand and work with our computerized scheduling, medical records and billing systems.
This position is full-time, M-F, with attractive hours and compensation. We provide a personalized patient experience unlike the typical medical office and want you on our team if you have a similar commitment to extraordinary patient service. You must be personable, able to think quickly on your feet, pay fanatical attention to detail, and work collaboratively with our surgeons, optometrists, technicians and staff.
