We are looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the Rancho Cordova, CA area to provide direct support to children with autism. The BCBA will work closely with parents and children to implement the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The BCBA will work closely with other ABA therapists and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct services to children with autism spectrum disorders and related disorders.
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles, with or without an individualized treatment plan
- Collect data on behavior and progress for each case
- Collaborate with other clinicians on case teams to ensure maximum benefit from ABA services
- Communicate effectively and maintain open communication with clients, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain a clean clinical environment, including maintaining a safe environment for children and staff
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences
- Complete required documentation on cases
- Supervise Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians on caseload
- Conduct VB-MAPP and other assessments to develop comprehensive treatment programs
- Write evaluation and progress reports
- Maintain authorizations/ relationships with case managers/service coordinators at various funding sources
- Meet with Directors to ensure quality of care and progress of caseload
Qualifications:
- Current Board Certification Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certificate and State LBA license
- Enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment
- Possess reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Experience working in- home or in a ABA focused clinic
- Competitive hourly rate to commensurate with experience
Job Type: Part-time with a potential to build caseload to full-time. Experience working directly with children with autism preferred. Experience working in a school setting preferred. Willingness to work part- time on-site and in clients homes located Rancho Cordova, CA.
