Epiq is seeking an eDiscovery attorney in New York to work directly with one of our clients, a leading law firm. This is a limited duration (project-based) opportunity due to an employee going on leave. You would be a W-2 employee of Epiq and the project is slated to last 3-5 months.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of Relativity
- Creating advanced searches
- Managing first-level and second-level review workflows
- Conducting pre-production QC
- Preparing privilege logs
- Supporting preparation for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials – identifying key documents, exporting documents from database, working with paralegals to create binders
- Interfacing with Relativity vendor (Epiq)
- Conferring with vendor sales team for conflict checks and new matter creation (training provided)
- Transfer of data (via secure data transfer sites/FTP)
- Convey instructions concerning data processing, search terms, data promotion, and production specifications
- Conducting QC of vendor’s production deliverables
- Analyzing data volumes to create budgets and timelines and determine staffing needs for completion of review projects
- Interfacing with Clients/Clients’ IT for document collection and data transfers
- Ability to create “in-house document productions” involving bates stamping and confidentiality endorsements of PDFs using Kofax (similar to Adobe) - (training provided)
- Assisting with document review protocol drafting
- For larger projects: training, overseeing and coordinating document review teams (and/or temps) including acting as point person for the litigation attorneys, fielding questions, assigning document batches and providing progress reports.
