Working together as part of our team in our Legacy Health Hospital in Portland OR, using the latest ultrasound technology, you will be performing cardiac diagnostic ultrasound exams and special procedures related to cardiac imaging in accordance with established protocols, policies, and procedures. Ability to apply your diagnostic scanning skills together with independent judgment in applying knowledge of clinical cardiology, ultrasound imaging technology, and problem-solving skills for a thorough ultrasound evaluation, appropriate, accurate measurements, while tailoring and expanding the exam to ensure comprehensiveness and diagnostic accuracy. Complete accurate, diagnostic reports, using our digital PACS system for our cardiologists to review and complete in a timely manner.
Grow in skills, knowledge and expertise in Advanced Cardiac! Expand and develop your skills and expertise in TAVR, Watchman, MV Clips, Ablations, STENT Therapy, and Robotic surgeries, as well as all other aspects of Adult Echocardiography are available.
Would you like to Cross-Train into Pediatric Echo? We are the only facility in Oregon that will fully cross-train you in Pediatric Echocardiography (You must initially be a qualified Adult Cardiac Sonographer). We perform all congenital diagnostic, surgical, post-surgical, interventional, and follow-up Pediatric Echo Exams in our Legacy Randall Children’s Hospital and Pediatric Clinic.

Requirements: You must be agraduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program. Registered (or registry eligible) by either ARDMS or CCI is required. An Oregon Board of Medical Imaging License (We can assist in obtaining your license).
