```Job Summary:```
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Business Office Manager to join our team. The Business Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Assisted Living Community, managing administrative tasks, handling all human resource task and ensuring the smooth functioning of our business. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
```Summary:```
Manages a variety of general business office activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors/staff. Strict adherence to company policies, and procedures as well as state regulations is required.
```Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:```
(Other duties may be assigned.)
- Manages daily business office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, preparation of payroll, personnel, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other administrative duties.
- Manage resident accounts and process monthly billing through Yardi.
- Reviews documents and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness per state and federal regulations.
- Maintains contact with residents and their family members as well as vendors.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Ability to create and maintain highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information and sensitive situations.
- Ability to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
```Qualifications:```
- Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 2 years + related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and ability to carry out task independently.
- Computer skills, Yardi, Microsoft Outlook, Paylocity experience a plus
- Must be able to support the team during severe weather conditions and other emergency situations
- Sincere appreciation for the elderly.
