Role Description
Judco Manufacturing, Inc., a manufacturing company in Los Angeles, CA, is looking for a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with a variety of HR functions. The HR Generalist must have a solid understanding of HR best practices, policies, and procedures, and be able to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. This is an on-site role located in Los Angeles, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Spectrum HR Management: Oversee all facets of Human Resources within the organization.
- Employee Lifecycle Handling: Conduct employee hiring and termination processes in adherence to company policies.
- Benefits Management: Administer employee benefits programs and assist in the open enrollment process.
- Accurate Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Employee Support: Assist employees with health and benefit-related queries or concerns.
- Administrative Oversight: Maintain administrative forms and the employee handbook, keeping them current and accessible.
- Safety Coordination: Serve as the safety coordinator, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaboration with Mexico Facility: Work closely with our Mexico facility to manage HR functions effectively.
- Correspondence: Compose and distribute routine written communications pertaining to HR matters.
- Document Filing: Maintain organized and efficient filing systems for HR-related documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a Human Resources role with knowledge in HR Operations, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Performance Management. Experience with benefits administration is a plus
- Familiarity with local and state employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- ADP Workforce Software is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus
- Demonstrated focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
