Basic Qualifications :
Education Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position:
Role and Position Objectives:
As a Cybersecurity/Information Assurance Engineer for Cyber Systems, you’ll be a member of a crossfunctional team responsible for providing system security engineering requirements analysis, test execution and analysis in a dev-sec-ops environment, and supporting activitiies leading to system certification and accreditation. Work includes identifying, assessing and mitigating system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle

Strong use and understanding of systems engineering concepts within the system development life cycle

Strong use and understanding of cybersecurity processes/guidelines such as NIST 800-37 Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guides(STIGs)

Conducting and mitigating vulnerability and compliance assessments on various operatingsystems, internet browsers, web servers, databases, network, and peripherals devices
What sets you apart:

Hold a Department of Defense active TS security clearance and an active security certification (Security+ or CISSP)

Leading a cybersecurity team to implement advanced security solutions to meet thecustomer’s mission and deliver a robust and repeatable security approach

Applying industry and DHS cybersecurity technology and trends to ensure engineering project's security services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices

Strong knowledge of cyber security technology and trends to develop security engineeringproducts and implement various security designs
