Superintendent, Graham Group (US) Inc., Seattle, WA.
Accountable for providing advanced-level field management and site management for multiple projects with annual revenues between $25-$75m. Direct the development of construction strategies, project execution plans, schedules, and estimates including estimating cycle. Apply technical expertise to lead estimates and make complex decisions about costs, change management, and balancing the risk/reward equation. Responsibility for developing the project budget, scope strategies, and participating in the pre-construction phase, and ensuring the project is built on time, within budget, and according to the company policies and procedures. Review and approve the submission and revisions of project drawings, develop project safety plan, and lead the review of construction drawings and specifications, planning and preparation of execution, inspection, testing and safe work plans. Effectively manage foreman and junior superintendent talent pool and play an important role in people development, managing the culture in the field, and providing key communication on field operations.
40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $147,930/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, or Journeyman trade certification, plus 10 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
Qualifying experience must include:

Construction management including field and site requirements of multiple projects;

Major construction disciplines including cost control, scheduling, aoes, supply chain, subcontractor selection, labor negotiation, asset management, and safety regulations;

Construction engineering and design, such as formwork, hoisting, access plans, soils or similar;
-
Construction contracts and subcontracts at a tactical level including negotiation, execution, and compliance;
-
Quality and safety, and an ability to evaluate project related processes;

Remote and on-site management of large teams of at least 20 professionals for complex work for multimillion dollar projects; and,
-
Scheduling and project management software such as Primavera P6 or similar.
May require local travel normal to the occupation up to 75% of the time, based on business needs.
