Position Summary
Our success rests on the skills of our people. As an Education and Training specialist, you’ll help Airmen progress, both by building a curriculum to help them develop new skills and opening doors for future civilian opportunities. Additionally, you’ll evaluate training programs for all career fields, ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity to learn, earn and succeed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop objectives to meet academic, vocational and technical standards.
- Determine cost-effective methods for delivering education and training.
- Develop tests to measure individual abilities.
- Coordinate and schedule events.

- Nonprior Service enlistment bonus of up to $15,000 with a six-year contract and paid incrementally over six years (dependent on member meeting all eligibility requirements based on IAW Air Force policy and law)
- Prior Service bonus of up $15,000 for six-year enlistment paid over six years or $7,500 for a three-year contract paid over three years (dependent on member meeting all eligibility requirements based on IAW Air Force policy and law)

Qualifications
Select full-time opportunities may be available for fully qualified candidates seeking to affiliate from the active-duty Air Force. Full-time opportunities for this role vary by location. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- A high school senior (age 17 or older)*, high school diploma, a GED or 15 college semester hours
- Knowledge of military customs and courtesies, command administration and instructional techniques
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Prior military service
- 62 Administrative (A) score on the ASVAB
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 42
*High school students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.
