To provide districtwide prevention and intervention support to elementary students in regular education classrooms who are struggling with frequent, intense, and/ or severe behavioral issues. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Master’s Degree in Administration/Counseling/Behavioral or Mental Health Field
Valid Texas Certification by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Psychologists as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology/ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred
Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred
Effective communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills

Minimum of 3 years classroom teaching experience - Preferred
Minimum 3 years clinical/behavior intervention experience in school setting- Preferred Knowledge of and experience developing individualized behavioral and/or safety plans for students in the education setting- Preferred
- Conduct observations to identify students referred by elementary campuses who are in need of behavioral
- Work collaboratively with campus administration to ensure behavioral requirements are fulfilled and information is available for appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff to develop the behavioral plans for each student assigned.
- Support, assist, and coach teachers to develop individualized behavioral plans for their
- Supervise, develop, and coach behavior support paraprofessionals.
- Monitor implementation of behavioral plans and support service
- Develop and facilitate professional learning for campus and district staff.
- Develop and facilitate professional learning for behavior support paraprofessionals including stand-alone professional learning as well as job embedded coaching.
- Collaborate, assist, and coordinate:
- Implementation of effective behavioral strategies and interventions
- Conferences and/or staffings regarding student evaluation, placement, and recommendations
- With campus administration and campus counselor to implement individualized behavior plans and/or student safety plans
- With district staff and outside agencies regarding education, behavioral, psychological, social, medical, and personal needs of students.
- Consult with district personnel on problem issues and crisis management as they relate to
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication by conducting conferences with parents, students, administrators, counselors, teachers, and district staff.
- Provide ongoing information to parents regarding
- Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents
- Utilize software programs to keep accurate behavioral data on all students
- Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and community
- Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and
- Manage and utilize data effectively for systematic process and program
- Account for the accuracy and verification of all student program data and
- Implement data-driven decision making for improvement efforts based on best
