Restaurant Server Responsibilities and qualifications:
· Prior experience in a food-serving establishment.
· Dedication to on-time arrival for shifts
· Available to work a variety of hours and days, including weekends
· Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and carry trays, plates and small wares
· Take and deliver orders, suggest dishes, answer questions and provide an exemplary customer experience.
· In-depth knowledge of menu items, and promotional dishes.
· Guest Focus – anticipate and understand guests’ needs and exceed their expectations
· Observes guest and respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
· complete thorough cleaning of guest areas (side work is a must)
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Follow all procedures related to cash, cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant safety and security
· Highly developed interpersonal skills
· Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems
· Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
· Ability to work well under intense time pressure, in a fast-paced environment
· Must have a Polite and hospitable attitude
· Must be able to fluently speak/read English
