Duties
- Provide direct patient care and assistance in a Home setting
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred, but we can train.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures, preferred
- Experience working with seniors or individuals requiring assisted living or dementia care is a plus
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
