We are looking for a Production Formulation Operator onsite at our San Diego location.
This position is responsible for lateral flow product chemistry reagent preparation, optimization processing and manufacture process in technical team. Under supervising of technical engineer to complete assigned production responsibility to meet lateral flow product manufacture schedule.
Some Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Follow SOP for new batch product optimization, testing and ensure released product meeting product QC specification.
· Follow SOP to make product and complete related documents.
· Familiar with production process, evaluate the existing production technology and make necessary changes for process improvement, optimization, and cost reduction.
· Evaluate and introduce new production technology for product quality improvement. Provide input on production technical related issue and improvement to R&D.
· Testing new production equipment for product quality improvement and cost reduction.
· Source and testing backup materials for major product components
· Communicate with technical team at ACON including San Diego team and HZ team closely to ensure any issue and problem in the production will be solved within target timeline.
· Other Tasks may be assigned as needed.
Education and /or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in biochemistry, bioengineering, biology, polymer material, chemical engineering, or pharmacy.
- Minimum of 1 year of laboratory/research experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to handle specimens from human body such as nasal and oral swab sample, urine, and blood. Prepare the specimen and perform the testing.
- Detail oriented and well organized.
- Ability to multitask and meet scheduled deadlines; and
- No color blindness.
