EveryMind is hiring a PART-TIME Community School Coordinator to join our Youth & Family Services team. At 20 hours per week, this role is responsible for the design, development and implementation of essential school-based programs identified by the community needs assessment as part of the Linkages to Learning (LTL) to provide services to students and families across the school community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintains positive relationships with school administration, community partners, stakeholders, and donors on behalf of the LTL program and EveryMind.

Conducts annual Community Needs Assessment, incorporating input from key stakeholders including school administration and teachers, parents, students and other essential members of the school community.

Develop annual Program Plan or adaptations as necessary throughout the school year:

Collects and monitors data related to program efficiency

Conducts evaluation to monitor program success

Serves as liaison between assigned site and the Linkages Resource Team (LRT), school administration, and school staff.

Arranges and facilitates weekly referral/planning meetings between LTL staff and school administration. Documents meetings and distributes minutes in a timely manner to appropriate recipients.

Represents LTL at various school-sponsored events.

Convenes community/parent advisory group to guide the development of programs and services.

Coordinates volunteers, including recruitment, selection, training and supervision.

Coordinate special events including clothing drives, school supply drive and holiday exchange, with support from LTL teammates.

Manages funds in assigned budget categories.

Assists with orientation and training of new Community School Coordinator staff.

Other duties as assigned.
Supervision to be exercised:
Occasional supervision of interns and volunteers.
Supervision to be received:
Receives supervision from Linkages to Learning Manager.
Minimum Qualifications

Education
Minimum of Bachelors degree coursework and two years of successful experience in the social services field required. Bachelors level degree in social service field strongly preferred.
Experience
Two years successful experience in the social services field. Experience providing community school programming and coordination as implemented under Linkages to Learning.
Skills
Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Strong resource development and referral skills. Strong organizational, relationship building, and community building. Accurate record-keeping and data entry proficiency. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Effectively interact and work collaboratively in a flexible work environment with a variety of constituents including CEO, board members, service members, veteran, family members or caretakers, interns, volunteers, paid staff, and community partners. Ability to express ideas with clarity, confidence, and sensitivity. Must be able to maintain confidentiality involving clients in accordance with organizational and federal guidelines. Adheres to EveryMind and Youth and Family Services Division (YFS) policies established by EveryMind Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Program Officer, and Division Director.
