Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown placements
- Conduct routine dental examinations and provide preventive care
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to ensure efficient patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice dentistry
- Proven experience as a dentist
- Proficient in dental office software (e.g., Dentrix) for record keeping and scheduling
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures
- Strong understanding of dental systems and equipment
- Ability to perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding (e.g., CAD, HIPAA)
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff members
