The Baker Consultant is responsible for delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Actively upsells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity.
About Us
Sweet E's Bake Shop is celebrating 10 amazing years of business. Started by actress Erica Tucker, Sweet E's is a Los Angeles staple serving up fresh baked sweets for special events and celebrations nationwide.
Reports to: Office Manager and Kitchen Manager
Principle Duties:
- Answering incoming calls from clients/customers with appropriate Sweet’Es Greeting.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by handling pick ups in a fast, efficient and friendly manner.
- Acknowledge all customers with a friendly smile and be highly responsive to needs and requests.
- Communicate clearly with each customer in a friendly and courteous way.
- Participate in team service to ensure each customer is served quickly.
- Creating well written emails to high value clients and corporations with direction and guidance from COO
- Creating and maintaining a thankful and gracious attitude towards our customers.
- Customer Facing relationship building in person & via email. Coordinating thank you letters and gifts to send to clients, celebrities, and influencers. We love our customers!
- Respond customer emails and phone calls, resolving customer problems with a sense of urgency.
- Enter, modify, cancel or update orders on Shopify.
- Use of platforms like Gorgias, Shopify, Canva is really important.
- Maintain efficient communication between customer service and production.
- Take orders direct form customers and communicate details to the kitchen thru Shopify.
- Interacting with corporate clients and businesses
- Meeting with clients
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
- Interact with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
Physical demands and work environment:
- Position requires standing and walking for period of 3-5 hours without a rest break.
- Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Understand the overall market
- Have an eye for detail
- Be professional
- Have effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer skills, pages, numbers, gmail, Gorgias, Shopify, Canva
- Knowledge in programs like excel, word and canva is required.
- Organization skills
- One year of experience in Shopify and Gorgias.
- Follow policies and procedures
- Take directions well and hits the ground running.
- Understand expectations of role and works within the boundaries of the role
- Maintain food safety standards, including identifying and eliminating health code violations and safety hazards.
- Understand, respect and maintain company policies and procedures.
- Outgoing, friendly personality.
- Customer service attitude.
- Work well with a diverse team and treats people with respect.

- Highly motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic.

- Previous wedding and/or sales experience is a plus
Experience:
- Hospitality: 1 year (Required)
- Sales: 2 year (Required)
Must Have:
- LA Drivers License
- Ability to jump on opportunities and close sales (2+ years sales experience preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Additional Pay: $300-$500 in tips every month!!!!!!!!!!
