We are seeking a Paralegal to join our personal injury practice.
As a paralegal with our firm your tasks will include: Drafting correspondence, pleadings, bills of particulars, discovery responses, motions, trial preparation, and complying with court orders. You must be able to prioritize and multitask, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be deadline and detail-oriented. We are a trial based firm with a significant case load, so we expect our paralegals to be flexible and diligent. It is important that you are comfortable with running a case load and working independently.
Responsibilities • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents • Reviewing, analyzing and summarizing documents, including medical records • Ensuring that documents are timely filed with Courts • Calendaring and keeping track of Court conference dates • Facilitate the meeting of attorney deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
Qualifications • 5+ years as a paralegal (preferably personal injury or related field) • Must be a team player • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Deadline and detail-oriented • Spanish speaker a plus
Salary commensurate with experience.
