Janjou Patisserie is hiring talented Barista staff to join our family.
As a barista you will succeed at supporting the entire team by maintaining high standards throughout the bakery.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
LOVE for coffee and desserts
Ability to follow detailed directions
Ability to maintain standards in food and beverage quality
Ability to handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions with accuracy
Ability to serve all guests to high standards in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be highly organized
Ability to clean and maintain a safe work environment
Ability to uphold company policies
Ability to contribute to a fun and lively atmosphere
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
MUST be 19 and older
Welcome guests warmly by smiling and making eye contact
Provide outstanding hospitality and service to all guests
Ability to make a veriaty of coffee drinks , latte art. (Training will be provided)
Take food orders, enter order information into the point-of-sale terminal, and process payments accurately
Handle guest concerns and special requests by listening; informing a manager; and helping to resolve issues
Assist with bussing and resetting tables
Assist with every facet of front of the house procedures to ensure an outstanding guest experience
Assist in stocking, dish upkeep, and general cleaning
Take out trash and boxes
Support team members including leadership
Execute effective communication skills
Exude positive attitude under stress
Contribute to a fun and professional work environment
Schedule:
Thursday 7:15 am - 3pm
Friday7:15 am - 3pm
Saturday 7:15 am - 3pm
Sunday 7:15 am - 3pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
