Remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Oregon Opportunity
ProCare Therapy proudly partners with a distinguished school district for the 2024-2025 academic year and seeks dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions and are eager to meet professionals passionate about enhancing students' educational experiences. The Special Education Director looks forward to welcoming skilled individuals to the Office of Special Education, where they will provide vital support for students' learning needs.
Position Overview:
- Grade Levels: K-12

Key Responsibilities:
- IEP Development: Contribute to the development of the IEP, including goals, modifications, and learning styles.
- Consultation: Consult with diagnosticians, classroom teachers, related service therapists, students, and parents regarding appropriate evaluations, modifications, and test administration.
- Testing Materials: Obtain modified standardized testing materials and assist in the administration or administer the test as needed.
- Liaison Role: Work as a liaison with other agencies in the vocational assessment process.
- Time Management: Schedule time efficiently for assessment, instruction, planning, preparation of materials, travel, and conferences with relevant school and other key individuals.
- Parental Contact: Maintain ongoing contact with parents to help them develop a realistic understanding of their childs abilities, progress, and future goals.
- Training Programs: Provide in-service training programs for school personnel and students, and education for parents regarding the needs of speech-impaired students and adaptations, programs, and services for these students.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's Degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is required.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid SLP license in Oregon and all required state credentials.
