**We are looking for a Full Time BCBA to join our team to provide supervision and support for our in school RBT's. Full job description listed below.
- Work with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support the implementation of BIPs.
- Be able to effectively convey information, provide training, and collaborate with team members, teachers, administrators and other school support.
- Provide training and support to school personnel and RBT’s on behavior management strategies.
- Provide training and support to school personnel and RBT’s in implementing the plans to ensure effectiveness and fidelity.
- Review RBT session forms to ensure insurance requirements, fidelity, and quality assurance goals are met.
- Conduct company required supervision of 10% to ensure support is provided with fidelity.
- Provide consultation and guidance to team members, sharing expertise and promoting effective collaboration.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as the Clinical Director team, therapists, teachers, and parents, to ensure consistent implementation of behavior intervention plans.
- Assist in managing challenging behaviors and developing crisis intervention strategies.
- Provide support and guidance to individuals and teams during crisis situations to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved.
- Ensure all session forms are submitted in a timely manner as per company policy.
- Ensure all missed and canceled sessions are marked correctly in the EMR system according to company policy.
- Work in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Adhere to the BACB code of ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and promoting ethical practices in their work.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field to provide evidence-based interventions.
- Conduct competency audits and fidelity checks of RBTs.
- Communicate regularly with RBT and other involved parties.
- Complete treatment charting thoroughly, professionally and timely.
- Report any concerns regarding the client, client’s family/responsible party or RBT in accordance with organizational policy and procedure.
- Provide input into performance evaluations.
- Complete necessary training for relicensing period as required by board certification requirements.
- Manage own schedule and caseload with consultation of RBT.
- Work at least 40 hours per week.
- Fill in for other BCBAs for vacation, illness, vacancies, as appropriate, in order to have continuity of services to clients.
- When school is out of session, be available to manage clinical case load.
- Regularly communicate updates with the Director of Clinical Quality.
- Consistently represent the organization in a positive light and maintain professional standards.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily within a school environment, including classrooms, special education settings, and occasionally home visits.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week to fulfill full time exempt requirements.
- May be subject to frequent interruptions.
- May be contacted by phone at intervals for consultation from RBT regarding a client's need.
- May be subject to long hours and potentially stressful situations.
- May be subject to emotional outbursts from clients.
- Will be interacting with client family members or persons in a clinical session setting.
- Will be interacting and communicating with other service providers related to transition and/or discharge planning for clients.
- Will be traveling in your own vehicle to the client session location.
- Will be working at variable hours over the course of each week to meet the scheduling needs of the client.
