Position Overview:
As the HSS Senior Program Manager, you will lead our Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) program alongside the HSS Administrative Program Manager providing support to people with disabilities and/or barriers to obtaining stable and affordable housing in the Twin Cities metro area. While this position predominantly works out of our main office, the frontline employees of the program partially work from home, so effective remote leadership and communication is critical to the success in the position. This role will also work closely with the HSS Administrative Program Manager of the program to ensure delivery and implementation of the highest level of care and support to the individuals served by the program. The Senior Program Manager will guarantee that Residential Transitions Inc is fulfilling its mission to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving the highest level of independence while on life’s journey.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the services provided to our clients meet their needs at all levels, and the services are assigned and administered in a timely, accurate, and compassionate manner. The Senior Program Manager will perform follow-up on the caseloads assigned to staff to ensure proper documentation and adjust services provided to clients as needed.
- The Senior Program Manager will be active and engaged in management of employees at every level in the programs they oversee. The Senior Program manager will assist and lead the hiring efforts, employee relations, and training of employees in their department to ensure that they are engaged, productive, and satisfied.
- Be responsible and knowledgeable of programs under their direction to be compliant and accurate with licensing requirement timelines and documentation.
- Work with the Administrative Program Manager of the program to stay within budget, validate accurate billing, ensure staff schedule utilization, and remove any service authorization barriers for the individuals we serve.
- Protect and be watchful for risk that could negatively impact the employees and individuals served by Residential Transitions Inc.
Required Qualification and Experience:
- Have a passion for improving the lives of the individuals we serve.
- Be able to pass a Department of Human Services background check.
- Work in a person-centered approach.
- Organize and work independently.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
- Have access to a working vehicle with valid auto insurance.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. or more.
- Two thousand hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of adults with mental illness.
Preferred Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an area related to Human Services
- Master’s degree in an area related to Human Services
- Three years’ experience in a management or administrative role. One year of housing experience. One year of experience managing a remote team of employees.
