Veterans Affairs Law, P.A., is seeking a friendly Research/Paralegal professional to join our team. In this position, you will be a first point of contact for our clients and will play a crucial role in providing answers while also researching claims. Previous experience is preferred but not required.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle clients’ inquiries and requests efficiently. Veteran status is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet veterans with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Review intake forms, research previously denied claims.
- Research military personnel records, service treatment and post-service treatment records.
- Research National Archives for command chronologies.
- Handle client inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Prepare forms for submission to VA.
- Maintain a neat and organized desk area.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using phone systems, Microsoft Office, and other office equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs industry practices and procedures is a plus.

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00pm EST.
This position is not available to work from home. Part-Time options available to help accommodate school schedules.
