Be part of history! Join Margaritaville’s Beach Resort as we plan to open on Fort Myers Beach. We are looking for ideal candidates for Food and Beverage Supervisors for our exciting dining outlets.
As the pre-opening Food Service Supervisor, the position will be included in establishing policies and procedures related to food service within our dining outlets. Furthermore, they will assist in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of the resort’s food and beverage team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy while maintaining company culture.
- Training staff to follow restaurant procedures.
- Maintaining safety and food quality standards
- Keeping customers happy and handling complaints
- Organizing schedules
- Keeping track of employees’ hours
- Ordering food, linens, gloves, and other supplies while staying within budget limitations.
- Supervising daily shift operations
- Ensuring all end of day cash outs are correctly completed.
- Coordinating daily front- of house operations
- Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste.
- Appraising staff performance
- Interviewing/recruiting new employees.
- Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels.

What you will bring:
- Ability to create and deliver FUN and ESCAPISM to customers and team members
- 1- year proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and waitstaff.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Obtain and maintain current SERV Safe Food Manager’s Certification
- Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
- Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance.
