Your Role
As O Positiv continues to grow rapidly, we are looking for an experienced email and SMS leader to own and manage one of our biggest performance marketing channels. As the Email Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping email to become extremely efficient and best-in-class. Through our email and SMS program, you will lead efforts to engage and retain customers across our multiple dynamic brands. You will own the email process from end-to-end: from segmentation, strategy, A/B testing, execution, to analysis of performance marketing plans.
Strong candidates will have an exceptional track record in email and SMS marketing, with a bias for action and a keen awareness of customer behavior. You will be highly analytical and strategic, always looking to make data-driven decisions around well-thought-out hypotheses. You will also have outstanding project management skills that will complement our appetite for testing to create the best-in-class retention marketing funnel. You have a strong sense of ownership and are excited to set and meet aggressive goals around our key KPIs.
The Email Marketing Manager reports to the Head of Retention and will manage a marketing specialist in the implementation of strategy. As the leader of email, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders in e-commerce, creative, and brand, to deliver impact.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage email/SMS metrics in flows and campaigns actively, presenting rigorous analyses and proposed strategies for continuous improvement to Head of Retention and CMO weekly
- Create marketing plans for sales and product launches based on knowledge of product and customer base. Work closely with the Head of Retention to develop and communicate strategy to team and executives.
- Own and manage robust email/SMS marketing calendar, from sprint to execution and analysis. Oversee marketing specialist in each step of the process
- Design and manage a robust testing strategy for retention marketing campaigns, including experiment design, progress tracking, data analysis, and synthesis
- Conduct quality assurance checks on deliverables built by team to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Demonstrate active thought leadership in managing and iterating on customer segmentation
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships to facilitate collaboration on email initiatives and new project
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing in a direct-to-consumer organization with a strong digital presence. Experience must include analytics-based decision-making where success is measured in terms of customer growth and conversion.
- Strong expertise in email and SMS marketing platforms. Klaviyo experience is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, interpret results, and synthesize actionable recommendations to drive impact
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team with empathy, and collaborate cross-functionally with different stakeholders
- Impact-oriented and strong project management skills, with a track record of excellent results in a fast-growth environment and a strong bias for action
- Proficient in Excel and data tools
- Confident knowledge of Google Analytics
- Passionate about digital marketing, customer retention, and women's health
Hours and Compensation
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $110,000 - $140,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
