Responsibilities:
- The clinical supervisory position (BCBA-Board Certified Behavior Analyst) provides services to individuals diagnosed under the Autism Spectrum (Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, or other Developmental Disabilities) who are referred for the ABA therapy/in-home services.
- Perform various tasks, such as client assessments, to identify needs, planning of the treatment services, and supervisory duties for the RBT/BT.
- Maintain a manageable clinical caseload, by completing clinical assessments in functional, communication, social, and related areas.
- Generate appropriate goals and objectives, writing interventions, and data systems.
- Review and analyze data/graphs, conduct parent training, provide professional support, coordination, and collaboration with other professionals within the field.
Qualifications:
- Certified as a BCBA (preferred) or BCaBA and/or be eligible for licensure in the state of Virginia.
- Willing to complete the process of credentialing across the board as required by Medicaid and other insurance companies.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate prior to being assigned to a case.
- Complete a background check (completed by CAS).
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule (negotiable hours as agreed).
- Personal Professional Malpractice Insurance coverage.
- A valid driver license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Strong behavior management skills and passion to work with this special needs’ population.
- Ability to work independently in completing the assigned tasks as supervisor, trouble-shooter, trainer, and field expert.
- Strong communication skills to interact with the management team, clients, caregivers, parents, and other clinical and administrative staff.
- Willing to coordinate and collaborate, receive feedback, and offer input as needed.
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull, bend, carry up to 50 pounds, and ultimately have a passion to work with this population.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
