We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as our Academic Coordinator. Work consists of coordinating and offering support in the academic matters of the academic divisions and their programs, in compliance with established academic standards and policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinate course scheduling (course cancellations, consolidations, and creations) in coordination with the Academic Director or Academic Program Director.

Process, evaluate, and refer student requests for courses from the enrollment department and academic advisors (Example: course changes, independent study forms, intercampus courses).

Attend to, facilitate, and refer, as necessary, student and faculty complaints, removal of incompletes, and grade changes.

Follow up on the delivery of grades and entry of the census of professors who do not comply with the dates established by the Registrar's Office.

Distribute and collect evaluation instruments, satisfaction studies, and other questionnaires that are assigned.

Prepare preliminary evaluations of teaching credit transcripts for the faculty qualification process.

Coordinate and communicate the assignment and entry of courses to the faculty in coordination with your supervisor.

Collaborate in the certification and verification of the class programs assigned to the faculty.

Collaborate in the faculty recruitment process.

Monitor the faculty courses to validate the fulfillment of the faculty's duties in them and provide support in the required processes.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in education or administration area.

Three (3) years of experience in similar functions

Establish effective personal relationships with the internal and external public

Sufficient interpersonal communication skills to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and administrators

Knowledge of the use of computerized systems and their programming.

Availability to work alternate schedules, nights, and weekends.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
