Responsibilities:
- Support the Brand Manager in planning, organizing, and executing projects and activities related to the operations of the brand
- Manage the e-commerce platform by creating and organizing product listings, tracking inventory, and monitoring overall site performance
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to liaise import shipments and distribution across the US and Canada
- Assist with the tracking, preparing, and reporting of budgets and expenses
- Monitor and analyze current operations to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide customer support by responding to inquiries and/or troubleshooting order issues
Requirements:
- Based in Los Angeles, California
- 2+ years experience in ecommerce or operations
- Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify or BigCommerce
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Experience using inventory/warehouse management systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in CPG is a plus!
We’re looking for an experienced Operations Associate to support our new DTC food brand kai dong (https://kaidongfoods.com/) in the US and Canada. In this role, you’ll be managing e-commerce logistics and inventory control, facilitating import shipments and distribution, and assisting with budget preparation and financial analysis. The ideal candidate has CPG experience, can communicate effectively, is highly organized, and possess strong analytical thinking skills to identify and solve problems.
Reporting to the Brand Manager, this is a hybrid role with 2-3 days/week required in our office in Los Angeles, CA.
