Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee our retail store operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability.
Duties:
Store Operations Management:
- Ensure the store is operating efficiently, meeting all operational standards, and providing a safe, clean, and organized environment.
- Implement and enforce store policies, procedures, and security measures to minimize loss and ensure employee and customer safety.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels, order stock to maintain adequate supplies, and manage inventory control to minimize loss and waste.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
Sales and Marketing:
- Develop strategies to increase sales, including promotions, loyalty programs, and community engagement.
- Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximize profits.
Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, addressing customer complaints, and fostering a customer-focused environment.
- Train staff in customer service best practices and ensure all employees understand and display the store’s service standards.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and review financial reports, including daily sales reports, expenses, and profits to meet financial objectives.
- Manage budgeting, pricing, and cash-handling processes to ensure financial efficiency.
Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and motivate store staff, ensuring they have the product knowledge and customer service skills needed to succeed.
- Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times while managing labor costs.
Compliance and Legal:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations affecting convenience store operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management or restaurant-related field, Mandarin speaking preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory control and clerical duties
- Proficiency in shift management and budgeting practices
- Knowledge of wireless sales techniques is a plus
- Excellent math skills for pricing calculations and financial analysis
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers and suppliers
- Experience in conducting interviews and hiring processes
