Title: Title Officer (MUST HAVE ALABAMA TITLE PRODUCER LICENSE)

Reports to: Team Leader, Title Operations
Summary of essential job functions:
· Monitor work queues and various inboxes, ensuring the delivery of title items to clients within SLA.
· Conduct title examinations, issue Title Commitments or similar reports, and deliver them to clients within SLA.
· Identify curative items and requirements to issue title policies.
· Request clearance documentation from creditors to resolve liens, including discharges, subordinations, and judgment payoffs.
· Communicate with borrowers, buyers, sellers, realtors, and attorneys to obtain clear title for CTC.
· Review legal documents (Trusts, Divorce Decrees, POAs, Probate) and order necessary legal documents (Deeds, Affidavits, POA).
· Raise any process or systemic issues as needed.
· Assist team members with additional functions as assigned by management.
· Maintain professional interactions with team members, leadership, clients, borrowers, and third-party vendors.
· Comply with security policies to protect customer NPPI (Non-public personal information), company information, and assets.
· Report any security incidents, violations, or non-compliance issues to managers, IT, or appropriate contacts.

· Strong keyboarding/data entry skills with accuracy and speed.
· Ability to manage multiple open computer applications and/or screens simultaneously.

Minimum Requirements:
· 1+ years of professional experience in lending regulations, title insurance, and legal issues.
· Law degree preferred but not required.
· Commercial underwriting experience is a plus.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
