Our pharmacy provides a wide range of infusion therapy services for patients with chronic and acute conditions. Our pharmacy is headquartered in Signal Hill, CA. As our company continues to expand, we are looking for a chronic disease specialist, with a focus on IVIG.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the healthcare or health services industries, and experience collaborating with healthcare providers and health systems. As a chronic disease specialist, with a focus on IVIG you will collaborate closely with Apex Infusion Care’s talented sales team to expand the IVIG business throughout California by identifying high volume referral sources. The chronic disease specialist will develop, execute, and report to Regional Sales Director on sales development a plan to develop broad spectrum of partners including pharmaceutical representatives, health systems, local health plans and IPAs.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Promotion:
- Promote and sell IVIG products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities.
- Identifies potential high-volume clients within designated sectors, secures appointments, and assesses their suitability for engagement.
- Develop and execute sales plan with defined target accounts and objectives.
- Performs regular follow-ups on all accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction with Apex Infusion Care and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Accountable for resolving challenges with referral sources and associated support services.
- Participates in and attends crucial professional organizations to enhance Apex Infusion's visibility and expand business prospects.
- Product Knowledge: Have deep understanding of IVIG products and the disease states it treats.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships.
- Ensures all team members are briefed on target accounts and specific client requirements to ensure optimal patient service.
- Market Analysis: Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to identify pathways for business growth.
- Compliance:
- Guarantee adherence to regulatory mandates, company protocols, and industry benchmarks in sales and promotional endeavor.
- Regularly performs quality assurance tasks such as reviews, meetings, reports, and result observations, aligning with professional practice norms and regulatory mandates.
Qualifications:
- Health industry sales experience, especially within neurology, immunology, infectious diseases, or rare diseases.
- Proven capacity to cultivate relationships, negotiate agreements, and meet sales objectives.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and persuasion abilities are vital.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Dedication to ethical practices, adherence to regulations, and upholding the utmost standards of professional integrity.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, regulations, and industry trends specific to infused therapies and injectables.
- Readiness to travel extensively within a specified territory or region as required, to engage with healthcare professionals and participate in conferences or community engagement or outreach programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
