Zack Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Kansas City KS area. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide therapy services to patients with speech and language difficulties
- Administer standardized tests and assessments to measure patients' abilities and progress
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and practices
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hospital or acute care settings is a plus
- In-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech
- Ability to perform patient assessments using standardized tests and clinical observations
- Proficient in developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students and families
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex communication disorders
- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion
