Who You Are
As a Business Development Representative, you are our first line of communication with our prospective customers. You will effectively engage, motivate, and develop new business opportunities through phone and email communications using CRM software and various sales methods to achieve company targets. You will prospect and sell to a broad spectrum of corporations with revenues upwards of $250 million and greater.
This is a B2B sales position that offers full time work in a remote setting with ongoing training and support to build a long lasting sales career. The Business Development Representative role offers a yearly salary, an incentive structure, and career development opportunities.
You will work closely with our SVP of sales and our field sales team to develop qualified prospects and appointments as well as close business.
Responsibilities:
· Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling.
· Prospecting: Reach out to 60+ prospective clients via phone, email, and social media to introduce the company's products or services daily.
· Qualifying Leads: Assess the viability of leads by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making process.
· Nurturing Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients through regular follow-ups and communication.
· Scheduling Appointments: Arrange meetings or demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
· Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized and up-to-date CRM database to track all interactions and opportunities.
· Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
· Collaboration: Work closely with the sales teams to align strategies and share insights.
· Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, lead generation, and pipeline status to management.
· Achieving Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, appointments set, and new business opportunities created.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related fields highly preferred.
· Minimum 2-4 years of B2B sales experience preferably in high volume cold calling setting
· Strong business acumen with a clear understanding of the sales
cycle
· CRM Database experience strongly preferred but not required
· Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications. (Word, Excel,
Outlook)
· Energetic outgoing personality with a positive can do attitude
· Strong written & oral communication, listening and
presentation skills
· Strong prospecting, lead generation abilities and cold calling
skills
