The Procurement Manager is responsible for all activities of the purchasing department. As a key team member within the company, you will work closely with our engineering, operations and material management teams to ensure implementation of procurement management across all functional business areas of the company;
Procurement Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborates with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for materials, products, and acceptable substitutions.
- Evaluate and establish relationships with suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, cost, service, availability, and reliability
- Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Drafts, explains, and implements instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management.
- Resolves grievances with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Maintains and/or implements purchasing and recordkeeping systems.
- Acts as the company’s representative in negotiations with suppliers.
- Coordinates removal or disposal of surplus materials.
- Review and analyze open purchase orders (POs); identify potential delays or risks and expedite orders as needed
- Interface with customers and suppliers, providing status reports, and ensuring on-time deliveries
- Work directly with suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve shipping or invoicing issues
- Enter and maintain Procurement documents in ERP system.
- Facilitate onboarding of new suppliers
- Review, analyze, and report procurement related data within ERP and Excel.
- Perform price analysis and source justifications for all procurements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Procurement Manager Preferred Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
· Minimum of 3 Years of experience in purchasing/procurement department required.
· A strong knowledge of the manufacturing processes, negotiation processes and project leadership.
· Expertise utilizing MRP/ERP systems - Global Shop Solutions experience is a plus.
Procurement Manager Physical Demands:
· A combination of the office environments, production floor and warehouse.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
